Queens Ice And Bowl Website

Queens Ice and Bowl was originally a print client of ours, but we have since become involved with almost every aspect of its marketing, including the design, development, and management of its website.

At the outset we wanted to create a website for Queens Ice and Bown that would advertise its facilities and special offers to prospective and existing customers. We knew that if we created an online special offers club, the leisure centre would be able to develop an extensive mailing list to use for future marketing campaigns.

Our web design team came up with a sporty red and blue design that would appeal to the family and teen target market and fit in with the existing branding. We packed the home page with features such as news, special offers and fun images to make it appealing and to help with future search engine optimisation.

Movement around the website is conducted through the horizontal primary navigation bar at the top of the page and is clear and easy to follow. There are pages full of information about the venue, it’s party packages, special offers, location and scope for user interaction in the form of the ‘schools and clubs’ button, ‘tell a friend’ and ‘sign up’.

Through the ‘sign up’ feature, Queens has been able to develop a fantastic database of information for use with our email marketing software. This is something that it has now started in earnest in conjunction with our copywriters and graphic designers. The monthly newsletters detailing special offers and news stories have proven to be a great way to generate interest and drive traffic to the site.

We are now also managing the content of the website on behalf of Queens and will be working to move the website on to our content management system over the next couple of months.
