When we were approached to create a new Flash™ website for leading London close protection firm David Lawrence, we jumped at the chance. It is not every day that you get to make a website for the people that stars like Madonna, Posh and Becks, Liza Minnelli and Samuel L Jackson rely on after all!
Our website design team was briefed to come up with a concept which would reflect the high profile nature of the client’s work. We were asked to create a look and feel which would communicate David Lawrence’s distinguished standing within the security industry and their consummately professional approach to service delivery.
Our designers produced a number of iterations which were all based around the idea of movement. We felt that the security agency’s wealth of services were best portrayed in a fluid format which would enable users to dip in and out of the pages. By making the website feel like an open book or brochure - where the pages don’t stand in isolation - we have also achieved a sense of how David Lawrence’s services fit together as a whole.
One of the most effective features of the site is the rotating Flash™ tool that we employed on the ‘clients’ page. It is a visually powerful way in which to showcase the diverse range of customers who rely on David Lawrence Security for event management and close protection services. London to Tokyo, their services are always hotly in demand.
The finished website is a powerful corporate tool which the company has already begun to use to promote their services all over the world.
