The designers at Solutions Four have been asked at various times to design flyers for the club nights at trendy hotspot The Faversham in Leeds. Remarkably beautiful and unusual thanks to a major refurbishment, the alternative venue hosts an eclectic mix of club nights, live bands, cutting edge theatre, alternative film screenings and private functions.
In a recent campaign, our flyer designers were asked to develop a visual identity for their Friday night hip-hop and soul night New Bohemia. The resulting flyer designs got everyone quite excited. They looked really young, funky and alternative, and appealed directly to the target market of students and young professionals.
The colours and cartoon images hinted at a kind of fun retro quirkiness which lightly embodied the feel of the night. Our flyer designers were well aware of the need to create arresting and stylish looks that would distinguish the New Bohemia flyers from the mass of other pub and club publicity given out on a Friday night.
The initial flyer designs were so successful that we were asked to produce a series.
